We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Platform Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and user-centric business applications and automated solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across the entire Microsoft Power Platform stack, a strong understanding of data modeling within Dataverse, and a proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade solutions. You will be instrumental in driving our digital transformation initiatives, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into innovative low-code/no-code solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture:
β’ Lead the architectural design of Power Platform solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
β’ Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs.
β’ Provide expert guidance on best practices for Power Platform development, governance, and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
Development & Implementation:
β’ Develop sophisticated Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps with complex logic, custom components (PCF), and intuitive user interfaces.
β’ Design and implement advanced Power Automate flows (cloud flows, desktop flows) for process automation, integrations, and data orchestration.
β’ Create compelling Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights.
β’ Develop and configure Power Pages (formerly Power Apps Portals) for external-facing applications.
β’ Utilize Power Fx for complex formulas and expressions within Power Apps.
β’ Develop custom connectors and integrate with external APIs and Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps) to extend Power Platform capabilities.
β’ Implement and manage Microsoft Dataverse (Common Data Service) solutions, including complex data models, security roles, and business rules.
Data Management & Integration:
β’ Design and optimize Dataverse data models to support business requirements efficiently.
β’ Integrate Power Platform solutions with various data sources, including SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure SQL, and other enterprise systems.
Quality Assurance & Deployment:
β’ Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Power Platform solutions.
β’ Adhere to best practices for ALM, including source control (Azure DevOps, GitHub), environment management, and automated deployments.
β’ Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
Collaboration & Mentorship:
β’ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, other developers, and IT operations.
β’ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
β’ Stay abreast of the latest Power Platform updates, features, and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
β’ 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
β’ Expert-level proficiency in building complex Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
β’ Advanced experience with Power Automate, including complex multi-step flows, error handling, and integrating with various services.
β’ Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft Dataverse for data modeling, security, and customization.
β’ Proficiency in Power Fx.
β’ Experience with custom connectors and API integrations.
β’ Familiarity with Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) development is highly desirable.
β’ Understanding of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
β’ Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices within the Power Platform, including solutions, environments, and Azure DevOps.
