Job Title: Senior Principal Consultant – Data & Analytics Architect Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – Minimum 2 Days Onsite Required)Work Type: Contract | Onsite presence requiredPay Rate: $50/hr – $55/hr Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Principal Consultant – Architect to lead the design, integration, and control framework of enterprise-scale Data & Analytics ecosystems. This role is ideal for a highly skilled Data & Cloud Architecture leader with deep experience in solution design, cloud data platforms, governance controls, and modernization initiatives. As a Data & Analytics Controls & Solutions Integration Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams — including business stakeholders, risk managers, and data engineers — to architect and migrate large-scale data platforms, ensuring data integrity, governance compliance, and performance optimization across hybrid cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and architecture of cloud-based data and analytics platforms across AWS and GCP. Architect and drive migration of legacy on-prem and cloud data warehouses to modern, scalable cloud ecosystems. Implement data governance, security, and control frameworks across platforms to ensure compliance with firm standards. Partner with technical leads, product owners, and business teams to define data architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies. Conduct architecture reviews, assess control gaps, and implement best practices for scalability, resiliency, and data quality. Serve as a trusted advisor on data platform design, integration, and governance best practices. Provide hands-on technical guidance to engineering and analytics teams throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of experience in technology architecture, platform engineering, or data solution design. Proven expertise with cloud data services including AWS (S3, Redshift), GCP, Snowflake, Dataiku, and Alteryx. Strong background in cloud migration projects and modern data warehouse implementations. Deep understanding of data governance controls, security standards, and compliance frameworks in data ecosystems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of architecting complex, high-performance data solutions. Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills with experience working across business, risk, and technology teams. Experience in developing platform roadmaps and defining strategic architecture blueprints. Job Type: Contract Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Work Location: In person
