Role description
JustinBradleyβs client, a leading source of mortgage financing, is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Product Analyst to join their team and play a critical role in bridging business needs with technical solutions. This role requires a seasoned professional who can lead stakeholder discussions, refine product requirements, and deliver actionable insights while leveraging advanced technical expertise. The Senior Product Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex business problems, designing solutions, and ensuring successful integration across multiple platforms and data sources.
Must be local to Reston, VA for their hybrid requirement.
Responsibilities:
β’ Lead requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to understand needs, define objectives, and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
β’ Drive product backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning activities.
β’ Partner with business and technical teams to design and develop solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and business goals.
β’ Perform complex analysis, system design, and unit testing of software applications based on user requirements and design documents.
β’ Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure successful delivery of features and integrations.
β’ Provide subject matter expertise on APIs, API integrations, Salesforce (preferred), and AWS assets.
β’ Consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources (Oracle, MS Access, SQL Server, Sybase) with a focus on resolving complex relationships between datasets.
β’ Deliver insights and recommendations that support product strategy and business decision-making.
β’ Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of product analysis practices.
Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
β’ 6β7 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Systems Analyst (10+ years preferred).
β’ Strong experience writing user stories, leading stakeholder discussions, and running refinement sessions.
β’ Proven experience consolidating and analyzing large, complex datasets from multiple systems.
β’ Hands-on experience with APIs and API integrations.
β’ Solid understanding and applied experience with AWS (required).
β’ Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
β’ Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with Oracle, MS Access, SQL Server, and Sybase.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into business value.
β’ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
