Job Title: Programmer Analyst 6 – UI/UX Developer Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid) Pay Rate: $65 hourly on W2 Duration: Long term contract Start Date: ASAP Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Developer to join our team as a Programmer Analyst 6. This role is ideal for a front-end specialist who is passionate about crafting intuitive user experiences and implementing clean, modern interfaces. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform complex business requirements into elegant, user-centered designs. Key Responsibilities: • Design modern, responsive user interfaces for enterprise-level web applications. • Translate UI/UX mockups into pixel-perfect front-end code using HTML, CSS (or Tailwind/SASS), and JavaScript/TypeScript. • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality. • Use design tools like Adobe XD or Figma to develop prototypes and interactive wireframes. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery. • Optimize applications for performance and accessibility. • Maintain a consistent design system and contribute to UI standards. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing UI/UX for business web apps. • Expert-level proficiency with Adobe XD, Figma, or similar design/prototyping tools. • Strong front-end development skills: HTML, CSS, Tailwind/SASS, and JavaScript or TypeScript. • Experience converting designs into reusable, responsive front-end components. • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools like Azure DevOps. • Experience with modern build tools: Webpack, Babel, NPM. • Strong problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments. • A portfolio showcasing recent UI/UX and front-end development work. Preferred Skills: • Experience with React and Material UI (MUI). • Familiarity with .NET, .NET Web APIs, REST APIs, and C#. • Ability to develop Power BI reports. • Awareness of current trends and best practices in front-end development and UX design.
