We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with extensive experience in capital markets to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced financial applications, trading systems, and analytics platforms. You will play a crucial role in implementing scalable solutions and optimizing our core trading and risk management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance Python-based applications for trading, risk management, and market data analysis.
β’ Collaborate with quantitative analysts, traders, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.
β’ Design and implement data collection, processing, and storage pipelines, ensuring data integrity and security.
β’ Integrate with external trading platforms, APIs, market data feeds, and other financial systems.
β’ Enhance existing systems with new features, performance improvements, and automation.
β’ Conduct code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high code quality standards.
β’ Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to capital markets.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's or masterβs degree in computer science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
β’ 5+ years of development experience with a strong focus on Python.
β’ In-depth knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments, trading architectures, and workflows.
β’ Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
β’ Hands-on experience with financial data APIs, FIX protocol, and market data feeds.
β’ Familiarity with quantitative modeling, algorithms, and financial analysis.
β’ Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure), containers (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
β’ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
β’ Exposure to C++, Java, or other languages used in trading systems.
β’ Knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.
β’ Experience with big data tools like Spark or Hadoop.
