We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Python Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems using Python and related technologies. You will play a key role throughout the software development lifecycle — from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development:
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily in Python for backend services and data pipelines.
Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional development teams to translate requirements into high-quality software solutions.
System Architecture:
Contribute to the design and implementation of new system features, services, and architectural improvements.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure system reliability and code quality.
Optimization & Troubleshooting:
Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues.
Code Review:
Participate in peer code reviews to maintain coding standards and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
Deployment & Operations:
Assist in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications in production environments following DevOps best practices.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python.
Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and RESTful API development.
Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL and working with relational/non-relational databases.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue) is a plus.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
