You’ll be contributing to the architecture and development of highly scalable backend systems, APIs, and serverless infrastructure. Contract Duration: 6 months Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of professional experience developing backend systems with Python • Solid experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and working with microservices • In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, SQS, and others • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies • Experience with serverless architecture and deployments • Strong grasp of both object-oriented and functional programming • Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and modern cloud patterns Desired Skills & Experience • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application environments • Comfort designing backend architecture and system flows • Exposure to streaming and messaging systems such as Kafka or Kinesis • Skilled at debugging and optimizing complex systems • Experience working on high-traffic, low-latency systems What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown • 80% Python and AWS backend engineering • 10% API design and architecture • 10% Team interaction and peer code reviews Daily Responsibilities • 85% Hands-on coding and development • 5% Contributing to architectural strategy • 10% Collaborating with teammates and stakeholders You Will Receive The Following Benefits • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Note: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis both now and in the future.
