We are recognised for our deep expertise in capital markets platforms, quant engineering, and large‑scale transformation programmes. Our teams support mission‑critical initiatives across IBOR/ABOR, analytics platforms, cloud modernisation, and enterprise data engineering.
We have been engaged to support our client -a global financial services organisation -in modernising its YieldBook analytics platform, a core engine used for Fixed Income and securitized product analytics. This initiative requires senior‑level C++ Quant Engineers capable of refactoring complex analytics libraries and supporting a migration to Microsoft Azure.
Role Overview

This is a high‑impact role involving deep quantitative engineering, large‑scale codebase modernisation, and collaboration with Quant, Product, and Engineering teams.
You will work on refactoring legacy C++ analytics libraries, improving performance, enhancing model accuracy, and supporting the transition to a modern Azure‑based architecture. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in complex problem‑solving environments and have a strong background in Fixed Income or securitized product analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Core Engineering & Analytics
· Refactor, modernise, and optimise a large‑scale C++ analytics codebase.
· Enhance quantitative libraries supporting Fixed Income and securitized products.
· Improve performance, memory efficiency, and computational throughput.
· Contribute to Python‑based tooling, integration layers, and automation.
Cloud & Platform Modernisation
· Support the migration of analytics components to Azure cloud services.
· Collaborate with platform engineers to ensure seamless deployment and integration.
Data & Model Integrity
· Validate analytics outputs, pricing models, and risk calculations.
· Work closely with Quant teams to ensure model consistency and correctness.
Engineering Excellence
· Apply best practices in object‑oriented design, code quality, and documentation.
· Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design sessions.
· Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile delivery processes.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
· 15+ years of hands‑on C++ development (C++11/14/17 or later).
· Strong object‑oriented programming and system design skills.
· Experience working in Linux environments with shell scripting.
· Proficiency in Python for tooling and integration.
· Familiarity with GIT, CVS, and modern version‑control workflows.
· Understanding of CI/CD/CT pipelines and Agile methodologies.
Quantitative & Financial Domain
· Strong understanding of financial analytics, ideally securitized products (MBS, ABS, CMOs, CLOs).
· Experience with pricing, risk, or analytics libraries in any asset class.
· Ability to solve complex quantitative and computational problems.
Professional Attributes
· Dedicated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently.
· Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams.
· Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, engineering‑driven environment.
