Senior Reporting Engineer / Lead – Power BI & Analytics 📍 Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid – must be based in or open to relocation) 🧠 Experience: 8–10 years 💰 Rate: $60–$65/hour (C2C) 📅 Contract: 12 months Role Overview We’re looking for a Senior Reporting Engineer / Lead to drive the design and delivery of advanced Power BI and analytics solutions. This role sits at the intersection of business and data, partnering closely with stakeholders to translate complex problems into scalable, insight-driven reporting aligned with our North Star data architecture. Key Responsibilities • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into impactful analytics solutions • Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models • Write and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, views, and stored procedures • Deliver actionable insights using data analytics and emerging AI capabilities • Ensure all solutions align with enterprise data architecture, governance, and best practices • Mentor junior team members and support power users across the business Required Experience & Skills • 8+ years’ experience in BI, reporting, or data analytics, with leadership or senior-level ownership • Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance tuning) • Solid experience with PL/SQL and relational databases • Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into solutions • Excellent communication skills — able to bridge technical and non-technical audiences • Experience working within an enterprise data architecture / “North Star” framework • Exposure to AI/ML in analytics is a plus Why Join • Opportunity to lead and shape reporting strategy in a data-driven environment • High visibility role with direct business impact • Work on modern analytics initiatives, including AI-driven insights If you’re interested or know someone suitable, please reach out or share your CV.
