Location: Remote (with monthly travel to Middletown, PA) Type: Contract (12 Months) Industry: Public Sector / Government Technology About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior S/4 HANA Data Migration Developer for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a major public-sector back-office system transformation. This role is central to the migration of data from legacy systems (including MS Dynamics F&O and proprietary platforms) into SAP S/4 HANA, ensuring clean, accurate, and secure data integration across the enterprise. The role is primarily remote, but requires monthly onsite collaboration in Middletown, PA, along with occasional travel for key milestones and system support. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end data migration planning, execution, and validation. • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define data needs. • Design and develop ETL workflows using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) and SAP HANA Migration Cockpit. • Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation. • Migrate data into SAP S/4 HANA and SQL Server environments. • Document migration strategy, mappings, test plans, and results. • Provide post-migration support and troubleshooting. • Maintain compliance with enterprise data governance and security standards. Required Qualifications • 5+ years in data development with 2+ years in SAP BODS. • Strong ETL, data modeling, and transformation experience. • Expertise with SAP S/4 HANA, SQL Server, and data migration frameworks. • Hands-on experience with IDocs, BAPI, EMIGALL, LSMW, and custom migration objects. • Familiarity with ABAP and SAP BRIM modules is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred). • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
