Nurse Salute LLC is seeking a mission-driven Senior Scientific Data Analyst to join our expanding research collaboration with the National Institute on Agingβs Center for Alzheimerβs and Related Dementias (CARD). You will lead the analysis of large-scale, multi-modal datasets to uncover molecular mechanisms and therapeutic insights in Alzheimerβs and related neurodegenerative diseases.
Location:Β Bethesda, MD (Onsite Preferred) or Remote (Approval Required)
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead analytics and AI/ML modeling across genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and imaging datasets.
β’ Collaborate with NIH scientists on data interpretation, visualization, and manuscript preparation.
β’ Develop cloud-based pipelines using platforms like Terra, Azure, Verily, and UK Biobank RDP.
β’ Mentor junior analysts and contribute to tool development and implementation aligned with FAIR/FHIR standards.
Qualifications:
β’ PhD in Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field; or MD with MPH + 1 year experience; or MS + 7 years. (REQUIRED)
β’ 5+ years in public health research, AI, software development, or applied genomics.
β’ 25+ publications or preprints in neurogenetics or related fields.
β’ Experience leading multi-site collaborations and publishing high-impact analyses.
