IT - Information Security Analyst V (Senior Security Metrics & KRI Design Analyst) Positions: 2 | Start: ASAP | Duration: 8 months (extension/perm possible) Location: Mount Laurel, NJ – Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 WFH) | Remote considered for right candidates Role Summary The Senior Security Metrics & KRI Design Analyst defines, governs, and drives adoption of enterprise security metrics (KRIs, KPIs, operational metrics). Partners with cyber domain leaders (IAM, SOC, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, AppSec, Third Party Risk) to translate security strategy and risk appetite into measurable outcomes. Responsible for full lifecycle delivery: strategy β†’ design β†’ implementation β†’ reporting β†’ continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design and maintain security metrics library (definitions, thresholds, risk mapping, tiering). β€’ Align metrics with enterprise risk appetite, security strategy, and regulatory expectations. β€’ Facilitate stakeholder alignment sessions; translate technical outcomes into executive-ready language. β€’ Implement metrics in reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau, ServiceNow, Splunk, Jira, CMDB, EDR). β€’ Build automated metric feeds, maintain data quality, and enforce governance. β€’ Deliver executive dashboards, trend insights, and actionable reporting for leadership. Must-Have Skills β€’ 8+ years in cybersecurity metrics, cyber risk reporting, GRC, or BI supporting InfoSec/IT. β€’ Knowledge of security domains: SOC/Incident Response, Vulnerability Mgmt, IAM/PAM, Cloud Security, AppSec/SDLC, Third Party Risk. β€’ Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; 1+ BI tool (Power BI/Tableau/Qlik). β€’ Strong communication and executive presentation skills. Nice-to-Have β€’ Frameworks: NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CIS Controls. β€’ Automation/Reporting Tools: Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Qualys/Tenable, ServiceNow, Archer. β€’ Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, Security+, ITIL Foundation. β€’ Banking/financial institution experience.
