Responsibilities Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer in Jersey City, NJ. Responsibilities: • Design and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows • Develop and maintain scalable Snowflake data warehouses • Write and tune complex SQL queries and stored procedures using SnowSQL, Python, and Snowpark • Lead data migration from legacy systems to Snowflake • Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to design data models • Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance through metadata and access controls • Integrate Snowflake with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Glue • Apply CI/CD practices using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and JIRA • Mentor junior engineers and support offshore development teams • Stay current with Snowflake certifications and best practices Requirements • Thorough understanding of application development aspect of Snowflake Database; Familiar with how Snowflake databases • Hands-on Python experience • Thorough understanding of all aspects of data engineering • Good understanding of Machine Learning • Understanding of how AWS and cloud work • CICD experience • Financial services experience is a big plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
