Role description

Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world. We are seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer (Database Engineer 3) on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA. Responsibilities • Rearchitect existing Snowflake environments efficiently and at scale. • Develop standard data models and frameworks to support modernization initiatives. • Guide the platform toward an optimized and scalable architecture. • Ensure operational excellence, reliability, and security of a terabyte-scale Snowflake platform. • Integrate AI/ML capabilities and optimize performance through data-driven solutions. • Leverage AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Python to enhance automation and efficiency. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Snowflake architecture and administration.
