Role description

Our client is looking for a skilled Senior SQL Data Analyst to support the cleanup and preparation of legacy Microsoft Access databases for migration into a modern platform (e.g., Salesforce, SQL Server). This role focuses on data analysis, validation, transformation, and documentation — not the actual migration.

In this role, you will:

   • Analyze MS Access database structure and embedded business logic

   • Develop a detailed Data Mapping Document (source-to-target)

   • Identify and correct orphaned records, duplicates, and mismatched values

   • Write SQL scripts for data validation, cleanup, and transformation

   • Support data testing and user acceptance validation

   • Deliver documentation and assist with knowledge transfer

What We’re Looking For:

   • Expert-level SQL (queries, transformations, data integrity)

   • Experience with data cleanup and migration prep

   • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

   • Familiarity with Microsoft Access and SQL backend systems

   • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

Location: Fully Remote

Length of Assignment: 8 month contract

Compensation Range: $50 - $85 per hour, based on experience
