This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, Al-enhanced SDLC and is passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance application s Key Responsibiliti • esDesign, implement, and optimize SQL Server databases for high availability, scalability, and performanc • e.Lead and support Azure migration efforts for legacy databases and data service • s.Develop and maintain cloud-native data solutions using Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Cosmos, and other relevant service • s.Operate in an Al driven SDLC environmen • t:Collaborate with Al copilots to convert stakeholder requirements into structured data models and spec • s.Use generative Al tools to iterate on database architectures and performance strategie • s.Pair program with Al assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to write, refactor, and validate SQL in real-tim • e.Implement tools for automated validation, bug prediction, and self-healing data pipeline • s.Collaborate with application engineers to ensure seamless integration between backend data systems and product feature • s.Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, security, and compliance issue s. Required Qualificati • ons6+ years of experience in database engineering with a focus on SQL Serv • er.Strong understanding of database design, indexing, query optimization, and stored procedur • es.Strong experience in Database Modeling using 3rd Normal form with solid experience in data archite • ct.Have 3-5 years experience in No SQL experience such as COSM • OS.Having solid knowledge of SQL Internals in Azure SQL Database Hypersc • aleStrong experience in optimizing database queries and stored procedures including monitoring database performance both system and database standpoi • nt.Has strong experience using SQL Server side Tra • ce.Proven experience with Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and cloud-native data architectur • es.Expertise in reviewing stored proc performance, reading execution plans and making optimizati • onsDesigning and writing high performance SQL queries and table desi • gnsFamiliarity with Al code assistants like GitHub Copilot, or similar too • ls.Knowledge in distributed databases and ELT tools, data stream processing tools is a big pl us.
