Role description
Job Title: Senior SSIS / ETL Developer Location: USA - Remote Job Description: We are seeking seeking two Senior Microsoft SSIS Developers to support the Mainframe Transformation initiative. You will design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions moving data between SQL Server and Oracle databases, ensuring high-quality, well-documented, and efficient data integration solutions. This role requires senior-level experience in SSIS development, data migration, ETL processes, and database performance tuning in a government/state agency environment. You will collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, mentor junior staff, and support release planning and deployment using Azure DevOps and Git. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Develop, configure, and deploy ETL pipelines using Microsoft SSIS. β€’ Integrate data between SQL Server and Oracle 12c+ databases. β€’ Design, document, and maintain data workflows and process documentation. β€’ Perform database performance analysis and troubleshoot ETL/data issues. β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project deadlines and deliverables. β€’ Mentor junior team members and review their work. β€’ Follow change management and code promotion processes. Required Skills & Experience: β€’ 6+ years in medium to large IT environments, with increasing responsibility. β€’ 3+ years hands-on SSIS development. β€’ 2+ years SQL Server and Oracle 12c+ experience. β€’ 3+ years experience with Azure DevOps and Git (CI/CD, version control). β€’ Strong ETL, data warehouse, and data integration knowledge. β€’ Familiarity with cloud database services, code migration, and documentation. β€’ Knowledge of PII compliance, enterprise info management, and regulatory standards. β€’ Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills. Preferred Skills: β€’ Experience with Informatica, MuleSoft, COBOL, Java, Salesforce, .NET Core, Snowflake, GoAnywhere. β€’ Oil & Gas systems and state agency project experience.
