Senior Strategist, Content Insights & Analytics
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 Months to startv (plans to extend)
Pay: ~$67/hr, DOE (W2 and benefit options)
The Planet Group is looking for a Senior Strategist, Content Insights & Analytics to join our well-known lifestyle brand technology. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule.
Senior Strategist, Content Insights & Analytics Responsibilities
β’ Stand up a scrappy content insights program using practical methods like stakeholder and user interviews, surveys & on-site polls, and usability reviews of site pages
β’ Build user personas and journey maps grounded in real insights and the proof points advertisers need at each stage
β’ Turn insights into action: identify content gaps and opportunities, recommend updates to site architecture and page flows, and deliver strategic copy guidance (headlines, UX copy, CTAs, forms)
β’ Partner with the Marketing Analytics team to measure the impact of your work, tie content changes to business outcomes and suggest better ways to track the right signals
β’ Run lightweight validations in a low tool environment (simple A/B tests, sequential tests, and message tests on various distribution channels) and share clear readouts with actionable next steps
β’ Maintain ongoing competitive research to identify gaps and opportunities to differentiate
β’ Work with site content and design teams to integrate user insights, personas and journeys at every stage so insights scale across site pages and campaigns
β’ Create clarity and momentum: craft concise briefs, readouts and a transparent change log that shows what we tried, what happened and what weβll do next
β’ Create processes, artifacts and simple measurement strategies from the ground up and iterate as you learn
β’ Find research participants, run quick studies, and combine what you learn with site data to identify quick, actionable changes
β’ Connect insights to page flows, site architecture and content modules, all while staying laser-focused on work that moves ROI and revenue
β’ Turn complex findings into simple narratives and specific recommendations teams can act on quickly
Senior Strategist, Content Insights & Analytics Qualifications
β’ 6+ years in content strategy, UX research, growth/CRO or marketing analytics for web experiences (ideally B2B) with a proven track record turning lean research into high-converting pages
β’ Collaborative by nature: gain cross-functional alignment and keep work moving without heavy oversight
β’ Comfortable reading data in Tableau and partnering with Analytics to define and track metrics, interpret signals and maintain a steady pulse on performance
β’ Familiarity with AI tools and an experimental mindset
β’ Hands on experience building in Tableau and familiarity with web tooling
β’ Experience running global research and working with localized content
