Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Senior Supplier Management Analyst for a large, well-established client. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team of vendor management analysts while overseeing supplier onboarding and vendor master data operations during a high-profile SAP S4HANA and Ariba transition. The role is instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of vendor data and supporting a smooth go-live process, providing meaningful impact on procurement operations.
Responsibilities
β’ Lead and mentor a team of vendor management analysts, providing daily direction, workload distribution, and quality oversight.
β’ Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor issues, exceptions, and cross-functional questions.
β’ Conduct training and onboard new team members to meet aggressive project timelines.
β’ Oversee full vendor setup and maintenance in SAP S4HANA, SAP Fiori apps, and third-party vendor management systems.
β’ Manage the complete supplier onboarding lifecycle, including data verification, insurance, banking details, tax forms, and safety documentation.
β’ Facilitate supplier calls to troubleshoot onboarding issues and clarify requirements.
β’ Coordinate closely with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Site Teams, Supplier Registration, and internal project teams to align workflows during system transition.
β’ Develop and standardize vendor creation and maintenance policies.
β’ Create and maintain vendor-related KPIs, scorecards, and progress reports for leadership.
β’ Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen vendor data integrity, compliance, and cycle time.
β’ Drive tasks aligned with the system go-live, managing high-volume onboarding queues and meeting project deadlines.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred.
β’ 3+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience, ideally managing vendor onboarding, procurement operations, or master data workstreams.
β’ 3β5+ years of vendor management, procurement, or supply chain experience.
β’ Strong experience with SAP S4HANA (required) and SAP Fiori (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with vendor master data, procurement workflows, and compliance requirements.
β’ Proven ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing project environments.
β’ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
β’ Experience with hybrid work arrangements, with presence in Scottsdale, AZ office twice weekly.
β’ Experience with Coupa, ERP transitions, or creating KPIs and dashboards is a plus.
