We are looking for an experienced Senior Swisslog Developer (7+ years) to design and enhance intelligent Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) that integrate automation, robotics, and logistics workflows. In this role, you’ll engineer high-performance software ensuring seamless coordination between machines, inventory, and operations across modern distribution centers. Core Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain WES modules using Java EE, Spring Boot, and micro services architecture. • Implement real-time task orchestration, routing logic, and system interfaces for automated material handling systems. • Collaborate with solution architects, controls engineers, and customer teams to deliver tailored automation solutions. • Conduct testing, deployment, and post-implementation support for WES applications in live warehouse environments. • Ensure software scalability, reliability, and compliance with Swisslog’s development standards and best practices. Ideal Qualifications/What We Need: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 7+ years of experience in enterprise Java development — ideally in warehouse automation, logistics, or industrial systems. • Strong grasp of warehouse operations, real-time systems, and integration protocols (REST, MQTT, OPC-UA). • Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server), UI frameworks (Angular), and message brokers (Kafka). • Hands-on experience with Swisslog WES or other automation/WCS platforms is a strong plus. • Agile mindset, solid troubleshooting ability, and excellent communication skills.
