About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technology Lead to join our growing engineering team. In this critical role, you will play a key leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge fintech solutions. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of talented engineers while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software products. Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team: Guide, coach, and inspire engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. • Must be AI first developer that leverages AI tools and development processes to deliver quality code faster. • Own technical architecture and design: Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable fintech applications using React.js and Node.js. • Champion engineering excellence: Ensure the quality and maintainability of code through code reviews, testing (unit, integration, end-to-end), and CI/CD pipelines. • Collaborate effectively: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously learn and adapt to the latest technologies and industry trends in the fintech space. • Drive innovation: Encourage and support the exploration and implementation of new technologies and best practices within the team. • Ensure security and compliance: Prioritize security and data privacy at every stage of the development process. • Contribute to strategic direction: Participate in the technical roadmap and architectural decisions for the company. Qualifications • Proven leadership: 7+ years of professional software development experience with at least 5 years leading and mentoring engineering teams. • Deep technical expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js, including experience with relevant libraries and frameworks. • Full-stack proficiency: Experience with both frontend and backend development is a significant plus. • Cloud expertise: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies is highly valued. • Agile methodologies: Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and adhering to Agile principles. • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. • Continuous Learning: A strong work ethic, a passion for learning, and a desire to continuously improve. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred). Nice to Have: • Fintech domain knowledge: Strong understanding of fintech principles, regulations, and industry best practices (e.g., lending, payments, insurance).
