Job Description:
Insight Global's largest healthcare client is seeking a senior tech engineer to join the Digital Solutions group to assist in operating and updating a mission-critical custom software project. This position offers the opportunity to work on-site at a world-class medical institution and contribute to a high-profile web property located in the heart of Manhattan.
Requirements:
β’ Minimum of 6 years building custom software solutions using at least two modern, object-oriented programming and/or scripting languages (Python preferred).
β’ Strong ownership mentality with a drive to improve systems and resolve incidents quickly.
β’ Proficient in data analysis and generating actionable insights from system metrics.
β’ Experience with native Android development in Kotlin; familiarity with Jetpack, Compose, etc.
β’ Understanding of the Android ecosystem, build pipelines, app distribution, and MDM.
β’ Proficient in GIT version control including branches, code reviews, and tagging.
β’ Bachelor's Degree
Desired Skills:
β’ Experience with complex applications and multiple integrations.
β’ Strong debugging skills, especially with third-party vendor integrations.
β’ Experience deploying applications to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
β’ Knowledge of application security technologies (e.g., encryption, hashing).
β’ Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and writing unit tests.
β’ Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and working on Scrum teams.
β’ Working knowledge of relational databases.
β’ Experience with REST APIs and RESTful architecture.
β’ Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins or equivalent).
$60 to $65
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
