Senior Tech Lead / Solution Architect - Only W2 - Only USC or GC

Role: Senior Tech Lead / Solution Architect (Python/NodeJS + AWS + Angular) Location: Onsite\_ Malvern, PA Role Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Tech Lead to drive architecture, technical strategy, and engineering execution across strategic enterprise initiatives. This role requires a strong technical leader who can operate across backend services, cloud infrastructure, and frontend integration while remaining actively involved in development and technical problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading technical discovery, defining scalable system architectures, establishing API/service contracts, and creating actionable technical roadmaps in environments with evolving requirements and high ambiguity. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the primary technical authority for strategic initiatives • Design scalable, resilient, and cloud-native system architectures • Lead technical discovery, solution planning, and implementation strategy • Define and document APIs, service contracts, and integration patterns • Identify technical risks, dependencies, sequencing, and architectural trade-offs • Collaborate with product owners, partner teams, and stakeholders to shape technical direction • Remain hands-on with coding, architecture reviews, and complex problem-solving • Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices • Support engineering team scaling and technical staffing decisions • Contribute across backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and frontend integration concerns • Ensure systems meet enterprise standards for security, maintainability, scalability, and resiliency Required Skills • Strong experience with Python or NodeJS backend development • Strong experience with Angular frontend development • Hands-on AWS cloud experience including: ·        ECS ·        Lambda ·        S3 ·        Glue • Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures • Experience with DynamoDB • Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture • Experience leading technical design and architecture discussions • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments Preferred Skills • TypeScript • GraphQL • Java • Experience with additional database technologies • CI/CD and containerization experience • Experience with enterprise integration patterns Ideal Candidate • 10+ years of software engineering experience • Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Solution Architect • Strong balance of architecture expertise and hands-on engineering • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills • Strong problem-solving and technical leadership capabilities • Experience driving enterprise modernization or strategic platform initiatives
