Senior Technical Architect

Raleigh, NC (Hybrid) We are seeking an Expert Technical Solution Architect to provide data warehouse and Cognos analytical solutions services. The candidate will deliver strategic insight by leveraging predictive data analysis techniques, sophisticated technology tools, and information management principles to help stakeholders make well-informed decisions. The Ideal Candidate Will • Work independently and provide consultative team leadership. • Coach business intelligence staff to elevate analytical capabilities. • Manage highly complex work efforts with extensive industry experience. • Report directly to the Analytics Manager. Responsibilities • Cognos metadata modeling using data modules/Framework Manager, fact & dimensional modeling, SAS, SQL, and quality control. • Lead full development lifecycle within Cognos reporting solution deployment. • Design and develop efficient Cognos framework manager packages and data modules. • Architect healthcare data management solutions to propose dashboards and operational reporting that improve executive decision-making. • Develop and maintain strategies, technical standards, blueprints, and technology roadmaps. • Analyze feasibility and compatibility of Cognos solutions with normalized/denormalized Data Warehouses. • Develop data workflows, processes, and SOPs for analytics delivery. • Increase reporting efficiencies and accuracy through advanced analytical techniques. • Prepare and present analytical initiatives to executive management. • Collaborate with subject matter experts, business liaisons, and vendor representatives. Required Skills • SAS tools, SAS MACROS, Enterprise Guide, Design Studio 7+ years. • Cognos and SQL expertise including table joins in normalized data warehouses 7+ years. • Strong problem diagnosis and resolution skills 7+ years. • Ability to manage client data requests and discern requirements for analysis/design 7+ years. • Experience with Cognos framework manager, dashboard/report design, and deployment 7+ years. • Expertise in Cognos report performance tuning with large datasets. • Advanced drill-down report and dashboard development using Cognos Analytics. • Architecting efficient Cognos metadata models with framework manager and data modules.
