Job Title: Location: Newark, NJ 07102 Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite from Newark, NJ office location) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 6+ months Pay Range: $59.23/hr. to $65.25/hr. on W2 | $68.00/hr. to $77.00/hr. on C2C Domain: Financial Services & Insurance | HR Tech & Data Governance Application Deadline: June 22, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED Primary (Must-Have): • Data Cataloging & Governance: Advanced experience with Microsoft Purview (Unified Catalog, data lineage, and data health assessments). • Core Analytical Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for complex data manipulation. • Data Visualization: Hands-on expertise building enterprise-level dashboards in Tableau and MS Power BI. • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of HR/People Data, HR processes, data architecture, and strict PII/PHI data handling compliance. • Data Modeling & Specifications: Proven experience defining conceptual, logical, and physical data models alongside writing data mapping specifications. • Agile Delivery: Experience translating complex business requirements into technical user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprints. Secondary (Good to Have): • Prior experience in the Insurance or Financial Services vertical. • Strong familiarity with Cloud-based Data Lakes, Data Hub concepts, and enterprise Database Management Systems (DBMS). • Knowledge of Data Management & Governance (DM&G) standards and enterprise Data-as-a-Product operating models. POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an Elite Senior Technical Data Analyst with 10 to 13 years of experience to champion a critical People Domain Activation project. This role is instrumental in transitioning our HR data infrastructure into a highly efficient, enterprise-level "Data-as-a-Product" operating model. Partnering closely with Domain Owners, Data Architects, and Data Engineering teams, you will establish data mapping, metadata frameworks, and strict data quality standards. Your expertise will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and production-grade People data products. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead the comprehensive inventory and mapping of People domain data assets, supporting the creation of robust conceptual, logical, and physical data models. • Leverage Microsoft Purview to systematically identify trusted datasets, map end-to-end data lineage, assess data health, and clear roadblocks for downstream analytics. • Translate high-level business stakeholder requirements into granular technical user stories, data mapping specifications, and execution goals for activation sprints. • Define and implement strict data quality rules, validation logic, and issue-management workflows for People domain assets, ensuring compliance with PII/PHI security mandates. • Extract, blend, and analyze massive, disparate workforce datasets to uncover hidden patterns, delivery trends, and quantitative business cases for strategic decision-making. • Present analytical insights, technical data structures, and strategic architecture recommendations to cross-functional executive stakeholders using clear, visually compelling narratives.
