Job Description: Serve as a senior technical consultant responsible for driving major technological transformations within a specific client. This role requires deep technical expertise combined with strong business acumen to guide high‑stakes initiatives. You will provide technical leadership, design solutions, and apply hands-on engineering skills to ensure that all delivered solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. Strong executive presence Responsibilities: Business consulting: Partner with customer executives and leadership teams to understand business objectives Drive rapid and effective decision‑making Develop solutions for complex enterprise‑scale business problems Deliver platform evolution roadmaps, build‑vs‑buy strategies, and operating and governance models Technical Leadership: Collaborate directly with engineers, review PRs and architecture diagrams, and provide implementation guidance Lead and facilitate technical workshops with senior engineers and architects. Governance & Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience 10+ years healthcare technology experience Clinical system integration Experience with EHR/EMR integration and HL7/FHIR workflows Understanding of interoperability standards and clinical laboratory data models Modern data ecosystems Data normalization and enrichment Domain driven data modeling Real time and batch processing pipelines Semantic layer design Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering High resilience cloud architecture Serverless and microservices patterns Application Architecture Experience modernizing complex monolithic or partially modernized platforms Domain driven design Microservices API gateways CQRS/event sourcing Containerized workloads Edge integration patterns Preferred Qualifications Experience in the life sciences industry Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) Job Type: Contract Pay: $100.00 - $115.00 per hour Expected hours: 45 per week Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hopkins, MN 55343
