Senior Terraform Lead (US Citizen Only)

Client-: HCL America Role-: Senior Terraform Lead Location: USA Remote Visa: Independent Candidate Contract: Long Term Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Terraform Engineer/Lead to build and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform. The role involves automating Azure services, managing AKS clusters, handling access controls, and converting existing Bicep infrastructure code into Terraform modules. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop Terraform modules to automate Azure infrastructure. • Provision and manage Azure services like AKS, Storage Accounts, Networking, and Security. • Implement RBAC and access management using Terraform. • Automate AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) clusters and configurations. • Convert existing Bicep infrastructure code to Terraform. • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for Terraform (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions). • Ensure best practices for security, governance, and infrastructure automation. Required Skills • 5+ years of Terraform experience with module development. • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure platform. • Experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) automation. • Knowledge of Azure RBAC, Managed Identities, and Service Principals. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash). Nice to Have • Experience with Microsoft Fabric automation. • Experience converting Bicep/ARM templates to Terraform. • Knowledge of GitOps tools (Flux/Argo) or Azure Policy.
