Senior User Experience Analyst

Payrate: $70.00- $71.00/hr. Summary: We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to create engaging, user-centered experiences for higher education products across web and mobile platforms. This role combines strategic thinking, design excellence, and user advocacy to deliver impactful learning experiences that drive measurable outcomes. Responsibilities: • Lead the design of complex, end-to-end user experiences from discovery through launch and iteration. • Design intuitive and engaging web and mobile experiences that meet user needs and business goals. • Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications. • Conduct user research, usability testing, and validation studies to inform design decisions. • Translate research findings, analytics, and user feedback into actionable design improvements. • Develop and maintain reusable design system components and patterns with a focus on accessibility, scalability, and consistency. • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize work, and ensure successful implementation. • Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder alignment sessions. • Present design concepts, recommendations, and strategic insights to leadership and cross-functional teams. • Use data, experimentation, and A/B testing to continuously improve product experiences. • Mentor and support junior designers through design critiques, collaboration, and coaching. • Design AI-powered learning experiences while considering ethical, educational, and user-centered design principles. Required Qualifications • 5-8+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, or related fields. • Strong portfolio demonstrates user-centered design processes, visual design excellence, and measurable business impact. • Experience designing complex web and mobile applications. • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma. • Strong understanding of user research methodologies, usability testing, and design thinking. • Experience creating and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries. • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG). • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, agile product teams. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Higher Education, EdTech, or digital learning environments. • Experience designing AI-powered or intelligent product experiences. • Familiarity with analytics, experimentation, and A/B testing methodologies. • Experience mentoring designers and contributing to design team growth. Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $70.00- $71.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
