Senior VDW Engineer

Position Title: Senior VDW / EUC Engineer (Omnissa / VMware Horizon) Location: Remote, USA Clearance Requirements: None specified Position Status: Contract Pay Rate: $40 - 55/hr Position Description: Seeking a senior-level Virtual Desktop Workspace (VDW) / End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to serve as an SME supporting enterprise-scale Omnissa (VMware) Horizon environments. This role focuses on design, deployment, automation, performance optimization, and advanced troubleshooting of virtual desktop and application delivery platforms. The engineer will work independently, lead technical initiatives, respond to incidents, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure secure, high-performing VDI services. Required Skills/Education: • 13–20 years of experience in VDI/EUC or Windows infrastructure engineering • Hands-on expertise with Omnissa / VMware Horizon (Horizon View), App Volumes, UEM/DEM, Workspace ONE, ThinApp • Strong PowerShell scripting; experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Bash a plus • Windows Server, Windows 10, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP administration • Experience with VDI image management, App Stacks, writable volumes, and certificate lifecycle management • Knowledge of vRealize / Aria Operations and automation • Solid understanding of networking and storage fundamentals (TCP/IP, NFS, SMB, iSCSI) • Experience supporting large enterprise environments and leading technical initiatives • VMware/Omnissa certifications preferred (VCP/VCAP DTM) or equivalent experience About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
