Senior Workay Developer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workay Developer to join our project team supporting our prestigious financial client, Discover. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on development experience, with a strong background in finance and proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale applications. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Workay solutions tailored for the finance domain. • Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders at Discover to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. • Ensure high standards of performance, reliability, and security in all developed applications. • Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and foster best coding practices within the team. • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to optimize operations for financial processes. • Prepare technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements. • Stay up to date with Workay platform updates, industry trends, and regulatory compliance in the finance sector. Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years on the Workay platform. • Strong knowledge and experience in the finance sector; prior work with financial clients is highly desirable. • Proficiency in Workay development tools, integrations, and automation. • Solid understanding of financial products, workflows, and compliance requirements. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a dynamic team environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Certifications in Workay or related technologies. • Experience working with Discover or similar financial institutions. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
