One of our clients which is having operations globally is looking a Sequel Data Access Engineer for a fully remote role in USA. Please find the below job description and request you to share me your resume to srinath.k@programmers.ai Position Title: Sequel Data Access Engineer Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Note: Only for USC/GC and H1B not accepted Required Qualifications • 3+ years of experience working with Fortra (HelpSystems) Sequel Data Access tools. • Strong proficiency with IBM i / AS400 / iSeries environment, including libraries, object types, and system utilities. • Expert-level skills in SQL, query tuning, and relational data modeling. • Experience with Sequel components such as: o Sequel Viewpoint o Sequel Web Interface o Viewpoint Scheduler o Sequel Reports / Dashboards • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements. • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with RPG, CL, or IBM i automation scripting. • Knowledge of data warehousing or BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik). • Familiarity with API integrations or ETL tools. • Experience with modernizing IBM i reporting or migrating from legacy query tools. • Background in manufacturing, logistics, or other data-intensive industries.
