Job description:
What Will They Do
1. Design and implement server-side tagging architecture using Google Tag Manager Server-Side
1. Build and manage end-to-end event pipelines (client/app → server → analytics & marketing platforms)
1. Integrate Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) and enforce consent-based data activation
1. Apply privacy controls (PII filtering, masking, regional compliance) before data is shared downstream
1. Develop and manage API-based integrations across analytics and advertising ecosystems
1. Ensure data quality, reliability, and attribution accuracy across platforms
1. Debug and monitor event flows, latency, and discrepancies end-to-end
Core Skills Required
Server-Side Tagging & Tracking
1. Strong hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager Server-Side
1. Deep understanding of client-side vs server-side tracking architectures
1. Experience with event routing, tagging endpoints, and custom domains
Backend & Integration
1. Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) or Python
1. Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, and webhooks
1. Experience working with JSON payloads and event transformations
Consent, Privacy & Governance
1. Hands-on experience integrating Consent Management Platforms (CMPs)
1. Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and consent frameworks
1. Ability to implement consent enforcement and PII protection mechanisms
