Job Title: Service Activation & Provisioning Engineer
Location: Denver, CO (4 days a week)
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Activation & Provisioning Engineer to support the provisioning and activation of devices within the cable industry, including cable modems, set-top boxes (STB), IP streaming devices, voice activation equipment, ATA, ONU, SONU, and MTA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with provisioning tools and deep expertise in activation workflows within the telecom and broadband space.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Device Activation & Provisioning: Support the provisioning and setup of cable modems, STBs, Wi-Fi routers, IP streaming devices, and voice equipment.
β’ Testing & Execution: Draft test strategies and plans, ensuring test cases are uploaded to Octane with traceability established.
β’ Defect & Issue Management: Troubleshoot issues during test execution, perform defect triage, and collaborate with development teams to resolve activation failures.
β’ Coordination & Communication: Work closely with Dev, QA, BA, and Architect teams, facilitating collaboration between onshore and offshore teams.
β’ Project Management: Participate in daily stand-up and weekly project meetings, ensuring timely progress updates and alignment with project goals.
β’ QA Reviews: Validate and review test strategy/plans from offshore teams, incorporating feedback from QA leads and project managers.
β’ Reporting: Publish daily test execution reports, capturing critical test metrics and defect analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with large-scale device provisioning projects within a cable or telecom environment.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
