Role description
Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Services Developer in Portland, OR. Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Services Developer with strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and RESTful API design. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web and server-side applications with a focus on performance, usability, and quality. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Services Developer will design, develop, and maintain modern applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js β€’ Build robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs to support application functionality and integrations β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software β€’ Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that follows best practices β€’ As a Services Developer, you will troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve performance and functionality issues β€’ Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers β€’ Stay current with emerging technologies and development trends to drive innovation Requirements β€’ Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI (optional but preferred) β€’ Familiarity with version control systems such as Git β€’ JavaScript frameworks, asynchronous programming, and modular code β€’ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills β€’ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
