Role description
Swoon is actively seeking a SigmaFlow Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join the team! What will your day-to-day look like? β€’ Serve as the primary SigmaFlow SME, owning platform design, configuration, optimization, and operational best practices. β€’ Design, build, and maintain SigmaFlow workflows for batch and near-real-time data ingestion, transformation, and analytics. β€’ Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including workflow failures, data quality problems, and performance bottlenecks. β€’ Design and support integrations between SigmaFlow and enterprise data platforms, including relational and non-relational databases. β€’ Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries, data models, and Python-based automation to support analytics and downstream systems. β€’ Partner with architects and engineering teams to support end-to-end data architectures, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, and long-term platform stability. β€’ This is a hands-on SME role supporting mission-critical data platforms What’s required? β€’ 5+ years of experience in data engineering, workflow orchestration, or analytics platforms, with deep, hands-on SigmaFlow expertise (design, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting). β€’ Proven ability to build, support, and optimize SigmaFlow workflows in large-scale, high-availability production environments. β€’ Strong SQL skills, including relational data modeling, complex query development, and performance tuning to support SigmaFlow pipelines. β€’ Working knowledge of Python for data processing, automation, and integrations related to SigmaFlow workflows. β€’ Experience supporting enterprise data platforms with strong understanding of monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response best practices. β€’ Ability to operate independently as a trusted SigmaFlow SME, providing Tier 3 support and technical guidance in mission-critical environments.
