Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in need of a Snowflake Administrator in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities:
β’ Lead the management and optimization of the Enterprise Data Warehouse built on the Snowflake platform
β’ Design and implement automation strategies to streamline data operations
β’ Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data platform deployment and updates
β’ Monitor and enhance platform performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
β’ Ensure robust security and compliance across the data infrastructure
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues in a timely manner
β’ Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term platform strategy
Requirements
β’ Proven experience as a Senior Platform Engineer or similar role
β’ Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and data warehouse management
β’ Strong background in automation and CI/CD practices
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools
β’ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
β’ Strong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance standards
β’ Effective communication and collaboration skills
β’ Experience working in agile environments and managing cross-team projects
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
