CloudHive has partnered with an organization that is nearing the completion of the first phase of its data warehouse implementation. They are looking to enhance their team with a skilled Snowflake Engineer with Snowflake cortex experience.

This organization has chosen Snowflake as its data warehousing technology and is currently focused on integrating data from their ERP system into Snowflake for reporting purposes. They anticipate going live at the end of Q1 2026, with plans to expand their data sources in future phases.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Snowflake Developer to lead the end-to-end development of this critical data initiative on behalf of our client. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in small, agile teams and can take full ownership of the project lifecycleβfrom architecture through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and models using Snowflake.
β’ Utilize Snowflakeβs AI/ML capabilities (including Snowpark, Cortex, and UDFs) to create intelligent data solutions.
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, communicate progress, and ensure successful project delivery.
β’ Own the technical roadmap, maintaining a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
β’ Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of excellence within the team.
Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including advanced performance tuning and security practices.
β’ In-depth knowledge of AI/ML integrations within Snowflake, including Snowpark, Cortex AI, and third-party tools.
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling techniques.
β’ Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
β’ A self-starter attitude with a passion for innovation and a commitment to ownership.
