We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and Data Architecture experience to support enterprise data initiatives for a leading investment management client in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on designing scalable cloud data architectures, building robust data pipelines, and enabling investment analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement scalable data architecture on Snowflake
• Develop and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines
• Build dimensional data models for investment analytics
• Ingest data from trading, portfolio, and market data systems
• Ensure data governance, performance tuning, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Snowflake expertise
• Proven experience in Data Architecture & data modeling
• Advanced SQL and Python
• Experience with AWS and ETL tools (Airflow/dbt/Informatica preferred)
• Investment/financial services domain experience preferred
