Role description
The Data Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data architectures that support the organization's supply chain domain, Corp domain and Consumer domain data for Business Intelligence.
This role requires deep expertise in Snowflake, a strong understanding of supply chain, order processes, and experience with SAP applications. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a minimum of 10+ years in a similar role.
Strong expertise in Snowflake, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing data solutions in Medallion architecture.
Ability to drive process changes and drive data governance in consultation with customer stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain, sales, order processes and data requirements.
Experience with SAP applications and integrating SAP, Saleforce, QAD, AS400 data into data warehouses.
Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data governance best practices.
Proficiency in SQL and other data management, data quality and Data profiling tools and technologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
Exposure to the ETL, ELT, Data Quality and Governance tools
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement data architectures using Snowflake to support supply chain operations and analytics.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand supply chain data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
Integrate data from SAP applications and other sources into Snowflake, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security.
Develop and maintain data models, data flows, and data integration processes to support supply chain analytics and reporting.
Ensure data architectures align with business objectives and comply with data governance and security standards.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering and analytics teams, ensuring best practices are followed.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in data architecture and supply chain analytics.
Communicate architectural designs, project status, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.
