Rate: $110 - $115 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to join our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions leveraging Snowflake, ensuring robust data governance, and implementing best practices in data management. This role requires expertise in Snowpipe, cloud platforms, and role-based access control (RBAC) models, as well as familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
β’ End-to-End Solutions: Design and implement comprehensive data solutions using Snowflake, from ingestion to visualization.
β’ Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
β’ Snowpipe Implementation: Configure and manage Snowpipe for continuous data loading from various sources.
β’ Cloud Platform Integration: Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to optimize data storage, processing, and analytics.
β’ RBAC Models: Develop and manage role-based access control models to secure sensitive data and ensure compliance.
β’ CI/CD & DevOps: Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and implement DevOps practices for efficient deployment and monitoring.
β’ Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide solutions that align with business objectives.
β’ Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, processes, and workflows.
Qualifications
β’ Experience:
β’ 5+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on Snowflake.
β’ Proven track record in implementing data governance frameworks.
β’ Hands-on experience with Snowpipe and cloud platform services.
β’ Technical Skills:
β’ Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and DevOps practices.
β’ Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
β’ Soft Skills:
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
β’ Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Certifications in Snowflake, cloud platforms, or relevant data management technologies.
β’ Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
