β’ Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our healthcare technology team, focusing on data integration and transformation projects using Snowflake and AWS services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with healthcare claims data and will use a combination of their domain knowledge and business partnering to help build data pipelines for our expanding Whole Health line of business.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design and implement ETL/ELT processes using AWS Glue and Lambda functions
β’ Develop and maintain data pipelines between Plexis Quantum Choice and Snowflake
β’ Create and optimize data models in Snowflake
β’ Ensure data quality and consistency throughout the integration process
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements
β’ Document technical processes and maintain data governance standards
Required Technical Skills
β’ 5+ years experience with Snowflake
β’ Strong proficiency in AWS services, particularly Glue and Lambda
β’ Experience with S3 and data lake architectures
β’ Healthcare claims data processing experience
β’ SQL expertise
β’ Python programming skills
β’ Experience with version control systems (Git)
Required Healthcare Experience
β’ Understanding of healthcare claims data structures
β’ Experience with healthcare data transformation and standardization
β’ Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements

You will be joining a team that has successfully migrated their data infrastructure to Snowflake and AWS. The current project focuses on integrating a new line of business (Whole Health) into the existing architecture, with data primarily sourced from Plexis Quantum Choice claims system.
