Role description
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions across a modern data stack. This role will focus on developing robust data pipelines, implementing best practices in data modeling, and enabling reliable analytics and visualization using Snowflake, dbt, and modern BI tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into well-structured data models and analytics-ready datasets. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement end-to-end data architectures from ingestion to visualization using Snowflake, dbt, and modern BI tools. • Develop scalable and maintainable data warehouse models in Snowflake. • Apply best practices to ensure reliability, efficiency, and maintainability of the data stack. • Build and optimize SQL-based transformations and data models for complex and non-uniform datasets. • Implement and maintain source code control using GitHub and support CI/CD processes. • Design and maintain data security and access control frameworks. • Develop SQL, HTML, and/or JavaScript to optimize the data stack and support visualization layers. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions to stakeholders. Qualifications • 6–8 years of experience in data engineering, development, and data visualization. • 3–5 years of data warehouse experience (Snowflake preferred). • 3–5 years of SQL experience (Snowflake SQL preferred). • 2–4 years of experience with dbt; semantic layer experience is a plus. • 2–3 years of experience implementing CI/CD within modern data stacks. • 2–4 years of experience with Tableau or other modern BI tools. • 2+ years of Python development experience.
