Overview:
We are seeking a Data Engineer to support and maintain its cloud-based Snowflake (SPARK) data platform. This role focuses on building, optimizing, and managing data pipelines and ensuring high-quality, secure data for analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Snowflake (SPARK) data platform
- Design and manage data pipelines (ETL) and onboarding new data sources
- Ensure data quality, security, and performance
- Work with internal teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions
- Build and support business intelligence/reporting tools
- Troubleshoot data issues and optimize processes
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Snowflake and AWS cloud platforms
- Strong SQL skills and database design knowledge
- Experience with ETL processes and data modeling
- Scripting experience (Python and/or PowerShell)
- Experience with APIs (RESTful services)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Public Health, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of Snowflake/data warehousing experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience (SQL Server or similar)
Preferred:
- Experience with SSIS, SSMS, SSAS
- Background in healthcare or public health data
- Business intelligence/reporting experience
