Role description
• Be part of the design, development, and maintenance of the cloud Data Lake & Data warehouse and interfaces
• Create complex ELT/ETL scripts to perform data integration to data lake and data warehouse
• Work with healthcare data set and implement backend business logic, databases, APIs, and data workflows.
• Perform data analysis on healthcare data (medical claims, Rx, CMS etc) to derive meaningful analysis for business needs
• Use your technical creative ability to operate independently without the need for constant supervision
• You also get to research emerging cloud-related technologies
• You will work as part of a development team participate in various development-related meetings, including but not limited to daily standups, sprint planning, reviews and commentary.
• Your input will be needed for the design of the platform and its components.
• Design and implement solutions to user submitted analysis tasks
• You will implement APIs for needed application functions
• Make sure you test and address any issues in you work as well as the work of others.
• Work with other developers to work on backlog items as they are being prepared for development.
• Education & Experience
• 7+ years of data management/ engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience in cloud Data warehouses like snowflake, redshift etc.
• Advanced and hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript and SQL
• 3+ years of experience with AWS for developing applications that include its services like S3, Lambda etc.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data
• Database CI/CD knowledge is a plus
• Can perform code reviews for the other developer's work.
