Snowflake Developer (x2) Location: 10 Park Plaza, 8th Floor, Boston, MA 02116 Type: Contract (C2C) – 12 Months | 37.5 hrs/week Work Model: Hybrid (Candidates must reside in MA, NH, or RI) Start Date: ASAP About the Role We are seeking two experienced Snowflake Developers/Architects to design, optimize, and manage Snowflake data environments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable data solutions supporting analytics and reporting across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake-based data solutions. • Perform query performance tuning, resource optimization, and storage management. • Manage user access, roles, and data security compliance. • Support data integration, loading, transformation, and extraction processes. • Provide troubleshooting, technical support, and query optimization. • Document system configurations and performance reports. • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and cloud teams to enhance Snowflake performance. • Stay current with Snowflake best practices and recommend process improvements. Required Qualifications • 5+ years in data engineering, architecture, or database development. • 2+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, tuning, security). • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. • Experience with ETL/ELT tools, GitHub, and AWS. • Proficiency in SQL and Python. • Strong experience in data modeling, data integration, and analytics. • Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI preferred). • Understanding of Snowflake security features (access control, encryption, masking, etc.). Preferred Skills • Snowflake Certifications (SnowPro Core or Advanced). • Knowledge of T-SQL, DevOps, and scripting. • Experience integrating Snowflake with Azure IDP or similar IAM platforms. • Exposure to AI tools and modern cloud data automation practices.
