Snowflake Technical Lead

Job Title: Snowflake Technical Lead Location: Cupertino, CA (or Remote in Worst case, if we cannot identify profiles in CA) Duration: Long Term Contract Experience: • 10+ Years (>5 years in Snowflake) Skills: • Snowflake SME, Python, End-to-End Cloud Data Engineer. Role Summary: • Looking for a Snowflake Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong Python hands-on skills to lead end-to-end Snowflake development - including ingestion, pipelines, automation, and optimization. • Candidate must have deep Snowflake platform knowledge beyond SQL or basic ETL. Key Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end design and development of Snowflake data pipelines. • Implement ingestion using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, external stages, OpenPipe. • Build automation and processing scripts using Python. • Optimize Snowflake performance, cost, and security. • Support CI/CD, orchestration, and integration with cloud platforms. • Provide Snowflake SME guidance to the engineering team. Required Skills: • Strong, hands-on Snowflake architecture and pipeline development. • Expertise in Python for automation, ingestion, and data processing. • Experience with Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, stages, and end-to-end ingestion frameworks. • Strong SQL, cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and CI/CD exposure. Preferred Skills: • Experience with Airflow / dbt / Snowpark. • Snowflake or cloud certifications.
