Role description
Social Analytics Manager Location: Hybrid in Burbank, CA Contract Type: One year contract Overview: Onward Search is seeking a Social Analytics Manager for our entertainment client to lead social research and insights for TV and film titles. This role is responsible for analyzing audience sentiment, measuring campaign performance, and delivering actionable insights that inform marketing strategy and creative execution. Responsibilities: β€’ Manage social research projects and measure audience sentiment and conversation around clients titles using tools like Sprinklr, Quid, Wavemetrix, and Meltwater. β€’ Establish campaign KPIs, create benchmarks, and communicate insights to marketing and senior leadership. β€’ Provide social listening insights and recommendations to evolve tactics throughout each campaign lifecycle. β€’ Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to develop reports, dashboards, and best practices. β€’ Inform marketing strategies that drive engagement around high-impact moments such as announcements, trailers, and premieres. Basic Qualifications: β€’ 5+ years of experience in social media insights, analytics, or research within a content-driven or entertainment environment. β€’ Proficiency with social listening platforms (Sprinklr, Quid, ListenFirst, etc.) and ability to run independent queries. β€’ Strong understanding of social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube. β€’ Excellent communication, storytelling, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects. β€’ Passion for research, television, marketing, and emerging media technologies. Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Experience in DTC streaming services or working with entertainment research vendors. β€’ Background in primary research methodologies and dashboard setup. β€’ Agency, vendor, or client-side experience in social insights or analytics roles. Education: β€’ Bachelor’s degree required.
