Role description
Location: Stamford, CT (4 days per week on site) Duration: 6 month renewing contract Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience in social media analytics • Strong understanding of social platforms and algorithms (TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.) • Experience with Hootsuite or Talkwalker for analytics • Strong experience with pulling data, reporting, and creating dashboards • Experience translating performance data into clear, actionable guidance for content formats, posting windows, audience targeting, and creative messaging • Excellent communication skills: ability to turn data into compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences Nice to Have Skills & Experience • BI & visualization: Power BI or Tableau, plus Excel/Google Sheets Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Senior Social Analyst who is a data-driven strategist and platform power user who owns the reporting, insights, and optimization of social media activity across channels. This role leverages social management tools like Hootsuite and analytics suites to translate performance data into actionable recommendations that grow reach, engagement, and conversion. The Senior Social Analyst partners with social, content, paid media, PR, and product teams to inform planning, guide creative, and continuously improve outcomes through test-and-learn frameworks. In this role they will create and maintain dashboarding standards (channel, campaign, always-on) to ensure consistent measurement across teams.
