We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software CDM Analyst III to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and overseeing the configuration and data management processes, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of data and configuration items (CIs) across the organization. You will work closely with various teams to drive improvements, resolve complex issues, and ensure best practices in configuration and data management are adhered to. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of configuration management principles, and experience with data management practices. What Youβll Do:
β’ Manage software configuration and data management processes, including version control, change management, audits, and customer deliverables
β’ Lead build and release operations across development, test, and production environments
β’ Collaborate with project teams to meet deliverable scope, timelines, and quality standards
β’ Drive process improvements and tool optimization for scalable, efficient delivery
β’ Customize and maintain CM tools to support automation and complex project needs
β’ Support Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices within the development lifecycle
β’ Mentor junior team members and act as CM liaison across cross-functional teams
β’ Lead change control, release planning, and deployment coordination
β’ Troubleshoot build and deployment issues; communicate resolutions across teams
β’ Serve as the primary CM point of contact for stakeholders and leadership
What Youβll Need to Succeed:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
β’ 5+ years in software configuration/data management with a strong track record of on-time, in-scope software delivery
β’ Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Power BI, Visio)
β’ Skilled in version control and CM tools (e.g., JIRA, GitLab, Bitbucket, ClearCase)
β’ Experience managing complex build/release processes and optimizing workflows
β’ Advanced knowledge of automated builds, deployment, and infrastructure automation
β’ Strong leadership, mentoring, and technical communication skills
β’ Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
β’ Detail-oriented with a focus on configuration consistency and quality
β’ Effective both independently and in team settings
Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:
β’ An active certification in Configuration Management or Data Management
β’ Familiarity with software configuration management in regulated environments (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA, NIST)
β’ Scripting experience with languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for process automation
Weβll also need you to:
β’ This position may directly perform under, support, or be exposed to a U.S. government contract and/or COMSEC equipment. To comply with the requirements of that U.S. government contract, applicants for this position must be U.S. citizens
β’ Be able to work in the office at least 3 days a week to foster collaboration with the team and stakeholders
β’ Active Security Clearance is preferable; ability to obtain is required
Work Environment:
This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
