Role description
Software Engineer (Angular/Kotlin/Springboot) | 6 Month Contract (OIR35) | Hybrid We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to play a key role in developing and evolving a suite of high-performance applications. You'll be working across the entire technology stack, from dynamic, user-friendly web interfaces to robust, scalable backend microservices - helping to deliver impactful releases in an agile, four-week sprint cycle. Location: Coventry (2 days onsite) Contract: 6 Months (OIR35) Rate: £250-300 p/day Start date: ASAP Key Skills: • Strong front-end development experience with Angular. • Proven backend expertise with Kotlin and Spring Boot v3. • Skilled in designing and maintaining microservices architectures. • Confident working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or equivalent). • Understanding of RESTful API design and third-party integrations. • Experience with testing frameworks, debugging, and performance optimisation. • Familiarity with AWS, Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines (desirable) Key Responsibilities: • Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications and microservices. • Build and optimise SQL schemas and queries for performance and scalability. • Integrate APIs and third-party services into core systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, maintainable software solutions. • Participate in code reviews, contributing to team standards and documentation. • Support production deployments, monitoring, and issue resolution. • Continuously improve application performance, reliability, and user experience If this sounds like you, apply now for immediate consideration.
